Christie’s Library – Spring Intern

Christie’s Library is offering a part-time unpaid internship in the library at the Rockefeller Center location in New York for the Spring 2008 semester.

The internship offers a hands-on introduction to the inner workings of an
auction house library. Internships are available to students who are able to
earn academic credit.
Required Qualifications
Enrollment in an accredited library science program
Interest in art and art history
Enthusiasm and ability to work alone and as a team member
Advanced skills in a language other than English a plus
Responsibilities:
Perform retrospective cataloguing of books, auction catalogs, and
periodicals
Assist with reference queries from specialist departments
Perform various administrative/clerical tasks
