Nov 19: NCLA program – “I’m New . . . What Do I Do?”

Monday, November 19 from 9:30 – 12pm @ Rockville Centre Public Library

CSD and YASD will co-host an ‘I’m New, What Do I Do?’ table-talk. Participants will have the chance to spend time at each table. Topics include YA/Tween Programming, PR, and Story Time. A light breakfast will be served and C.E.U.s will be awarded. RSVP by Monday, November 12 to Janet Scheuering at The Bryant Library in Roslyn.

NCLA members pay nothing / Non-members pay $5.00 by mail-in check (made out to NCLA and sent to Janet Scheuering, Children’s Services, 2 Paper Mill Road, Roslyn, NY, 11576) or $10.00 at the door.

This workshop is geared towards public librarians who are new to the
profession and interested in Children’s or YA positions.

The workshop will consist of various table-talk discussions, with topics
such as programming for children, programming for tweens/YA, school
collaboration/PR, and civil service.
