notice that he doesn’t have an MLS. I interviewed the librarian at the French Culinary Institute last fall. Her job was posted on monster.com, and she got it primarily because she used to be a pastry chef, even though she didn’t have an MLS. She is now in the process of getting her degree. Very cool jobs, and a good reminder that often your expertise outside of libraryland is more important than your degree. and also, look for jobs in places other than professional association web sites.
